hi, i've worked the past 12 years doing video in the editorial space at cnet, chow, and idg (macworld, pcworld,  and techhive).  During this time my work has covered documentary, news, commercials, how-to's, product reviews, short narratives, and music videos.  in other words, a lot.  between every video shoot and edit, there's the addition of data analytics to hone the video strategy for the next project.  it's one thing to create great video and another thing to get people to watch.  but ultimately i love telling stories whether it be in an entire video or a single photo. Oh yeah, and I like them to look good too.
